Ice adventure

Brr, but it's cold here, and we've gotten quite the dump of snow in Michigan.   However, this Tilda from Magnolia is enjoying her time off school to skate to her heart's content.  I've used a number of die cuts, dry embossed the trees, and added snowflakes with gems in the centers.    If you'll notice, my background paper has little skates -- a fitting coordination to my image.

Winter togetherness

I admit - I love this Stampendous penguin pair and couldn't resist coloring them up a second time, in the same pink/purple combo, as my previous card, just using different background papers and embellishments.   I added tree die cuts, using glittery cardstock, as well as the set of mittens, then topped this chilly pair with a couple of glittered foam snowflakes.   I framed these in the same purple/pink combo, and added star dust stickles to the snow/flakes.   Thanks for viewing another untraditional color card - haha, or guess that should be hoho !!

Brr, it's cold outside

You think these penguins aren't feeling the cold -- well, they ARE all bundled up in hats and scarves.   Aren't they adorable - and this stamp (yes, an actual rubber stamp) comes from Stampendous and I just felt the need to stray this time from the traditional red/green holiday colors, since I have this pretty paper pack.   I've added "star dust" stickles to the snow, and used glittered cardstock for my die cuts, adding silver gems to my snowflake centers.   I hope you like my card - I'm happy with how it's turned out.

Sweet bear hugs

Anyone else tired of doing winter/holiday cards by now?   I know I needed a break, so I chose this adorable digital from the DigiStamp Boutique.  I've colored with prismas/gamsol, and I had a little "hugs" stamp that I used to put the word inside the heart.   This card will be one of many that I plan to send in to "Cards for Little Hearts" -- which, in turn, will be distributed to a couple hospitals that specialize in handling children with congenital heart diseases.   If you'd like more information on this, just click onto the sweet little bear to the right -- hopefully, your heart will be touched to join in!

Joyful Christmas

I hope your Christmas is full of joy, just like this cute penguin from Conie Fong is portraying.  I've colored it with prismas and added stickles for some pizzazz.    I found the 3-D penguins in my winter stash of supplies, and just tucked a couple doilies behind my image, as I didn't want to cover up too much of my cute background paper.   So, it's a bit of penguin-mania here - hahaha.

Grill expert

Well, because it's so hard to come up with ideas for a masculine birthday card, I decided to color up this "king of the grill" digital from Little Miss Muffet, as we've shared many a grilled meal at his house, that he's expert at.   And, knowing guys aren't into all the frills and fancy embellishments, I kept the card design pretty basic, and I must admit, he loved it.

Moo-valous Christmas

I admit it -- every time I color up this Bugaboo digital, I have to grin and chuckle !!    This cow really cracks me up.    My card design is simple, as the main focus has got to be on the silly cow, and using the red and black combination, well, it's just striking enough.
